# SAASALE

> SAASALE is a marketplace for buying and selling SaaS businesses with AI-verified revenue and an automated Deal Score from 0 to 10 on every listing.

SAASALE differs from generic acquisition marketplaces in three ways:
1. **Verified revenue** — every listing connects to the seller's payment provider (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, and 14 others) via read-only API key. Numbers cannot be self-reported or edited.
2. **AI Deal Score** — every project receives a 0-10 composite score combining six metrics (Product-Market Fit, revenue freshness, revenue volume, GEO leverage, niche saturation, replaceability by free AI). Verified payment data weighs 65%, AI agents weigh 35%. The formula is deterministic.
3. **Pre-tracked catalog** — 495 SaaS projects from the SaaS Radar database are already in the marketplace, scored and indexed, before their founders list them. Buyers can express interest before competition arrives.

- **Listings**: $49 one-time fee for new projects. Free for pre-tracked projects whose founders activate sale.
- **Payment providers supported for verification**: 17 — Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, Polar, RevenueCat, DodoPayment, Superwall, Creem, Chargebee, Recurly, Maxio, Adapty, Apphud, Qonversion, Glassfy, PayPal, SumUp.
- **Pre-tracked projects in catalog**: 495.
- **Platform commission**: 3.7%–5.6% of deal size, lower percentage for larger deals, split 50/50 between buyer and seller.
- **Escrow**: all transactions handled by Escrow.com. 30-day inspection period starts only when buyer marks "received".
- **Buyer Alerts**: free.
- **AI Deep Analysis Reports**: $29 per report, with 5/10/20 packs at a discount.
- **API access**: free tier (100 req/day) and Pro tier ($49/mo).
- **Deal documents**: NDA, LOI, APA generated client-side in browser, signed inline, stored only on the deal record.
- **Identity verification (KYC)**: handled by Escrow.com at the escrow stage. SAASALE does not store ID documents.

## How it works

- Sellers connect a read-only API key from their payment provider. SAASALE pulls revenue, MRR, and active subscription counts directly. Sellers cannot edit verified numbers.
- The AI Deal Score is calculated automatically. Sellers with paid listings can hide their score from public view; the underlying metrics remain visible.
- Buyers browse, filter by Deal Score and revenue, save projects, set up free alerts, and make offers.
- The deal flow has six stages: Offer → Negotiate → LOI → Due Diligence → APA → Escrow → Close. NDA, LOI, and APA are generated in-browser.
- Payments go exclusively through Escrow.com. Lump-sum only — no installments or earnouts.
